- 1977, Chemo's first commercial office was set up in Barcelona and started trading Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients.
- 1984, Industriale Chimica started activities in Saronno, Italy, developing a strong background in hormone APIs.
- 1988, Quimica Sintetica was acquired from Warner Lambert in Alcala de Henares, Madrid.
- 1995, Liconsa was setup starting activities in the finished product field with controlled release pellet technologies.
- 1999, First finished product dossier approved in Europe.
- 2002, A new era in Chemo's history began characterized by the establishment of a series of corporates alliances.
- 2006, Leon Farma was set up, dedicated to the research, development and production of Hormone Products.
- 2006, Gold Pharma starts its activities in the research, development and production of APIs.
- 2007, Chemo's 30o Anniversary.
- 2008, Leon Farma becomes an FDA approved factory.
- 2008, Chemway, Chemo group's subsidiary in China was set up. Chemway is responsible for marketing Chemo group's finished dosage forms in China.
- In 2009, Chemway Pharma, Chemo group's subsidiary in the Philippines was incorporated.
